Dirty floors, oven, windows, and most of all service areas! the kitchen, bathroom, lavatory in particular must be kept clean! Imagine that you are the buyer come to look at your house?

  • Service areas- clean all the taps, sinks, showers, bath, lavatory, cupboards, fridge and oven. Remember the laundry can get very damp and smelly, air it out!
  • Bedrooms- make sure all beds are nicely made, wardrobes are tidy, remember no clutter!
  • Living areas- make sure all cutains are hung properly, cover any damaged funiture as best you can, place a nice tablecloth on the dining room table, flowers will brighten up the room.

  • Flowers really freshen up a room by aroma and colour - A house that smells beautifull is inviting. Strategically place plants and flowers around to bring out the best in your house.
  • Brighten up the house by keeping all the curtains open. No-one likes a dull house.
  • Any doors leading to decks, patio's etc should be opened and made to look regularly used. This opens the rooms up making them look bigger
  • Remember make that front entrance warm and welcoming. The potential buyer is going to stand there untill invited in.
